Connecting to WolfWeb with SFTP Client

Associated Roles:
  • Faculty / Staff

Wolfweb is currently in the process of being decommissioned. Wolfweb content will become “read-only” on August 31st, 2019, which means owners and editors will not be able to edit it. On November 15th, 2019, the servers hosting Wolfweb and Blogs will be turned off, meaning owners and editors will no longer have access to that content.

There are multiple FTPS and SFTP clients that will work across Windows, Linux, and mac OS. Some of these clients include:

  • Cyberduck
  • Win SCP

Whatever client you use, it must support SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol).

How to Connect to Wolfweb via SFTP Client

Each SFTP client is going to look different, but the information needed for connection will be the same:

Protocol: SFTP - SSH File Transfer Protocol
Logon Type: Normal
User: Your NetID username
Password: Your NetID password

If you have any issues connecting to your Wolfweb site via SFTP Protocol, please contact the OIT Support Center.
