Zoom is a video conferencing tool that can be used for live class sessions, presentations by guest lecturers, instructor office hours, or interactions between students and peers. Zoom allows you to conduct class or hold meetings in a live online format using a web camera and microphone while sharing the contents of your screen. It features the ability to share your screen, a chat function, a virtual whiteboard, breakout rooms for smaller discussions, and allows you to record your sessions.

Zoom is accessed via the web portal, as a standalone application on your mobile device, or in WebCampus. With the WebCampus integration, you can add the Zoom link to your course menus for easy deployment in your courses.


For Instructional Use

Support for Zoom is managed by the Teaching & Learning Technologies Department (TLT). For more information on utilizing Zoom or to request support please select the button below.

For Non-Instructional and Administrative Use

The new Zoom enterprise license comes with a Zoom portal that has everything a general user needs to host or join meetings. Sign in will be with your NetID and password.

There's no desktop software install necessary -- if a plug-in is required for any reason, a prompt to auto install via browser will appear when connecting to the meeting.

TLT has purchased an enterprise license for Zoom which will be provided to students, staff, and faculty at no charge.
