Back to Login IDs and Passwords

The NSHE (Nevada System of Higher Education) ID provides a system-wide unique identifier for each student, faculty and staff member within the Nevada System of Higher Education (NSHE).

Students, faculty and staff are automatically issued a system-wide unique NSHE ID. The NSHE ID will provide continuity and security for individuals when dealing with system-wide issues. Regardless of how many Higher Education institutions in Nevada you attend or are employed at, your NSHE ID will always remain the same.

Your NSHE ID is a 10-digit number (e.g. 8000123456). All students and applicants should use this number to access MyNevada. Faculty and staff may log in with their NetID.

Instructions for retrieving, and resetting the password for, an NSHE ID, can be found on the MyNevada Help site.

After graduation, the NSHE ID will remain active to allow for logging into MyNevada in order to retrieve records including transcript and tax information.

The NSHE ID is provided at no charge.
