CI Day 2019 – Campus Cyberinfrastructure and Research Technology Support

Thank you for your interest! The inaugural CI Day 2019 was held on March 27th, 2019. Participants were able to converse with University leadership and technology providers about campus Cyberinfrastructure (CI) and research technology support. It was a successful program that brought fresh perspectives and insights to University leadership straight from researchers. Please see the post-event article from Nevada Today: Researchers, Technology Providers, and Leadership Discuss Vision for University Cyberinfrastructure. If you are interested in learning more about Cyberinfrastructure at the University, please visit the Cyberinfrastructure web page and contact CI Director, Dr. Scotty Strachan by email.

As a matter of interest, you can find the 2019 program and sponsorship information below.

About the Event - March 27th, 2019

University leadership will be presenting on the importance and current state of CI at the University, and the vision for the future. The day includes lightning round presentations and a CI panel discussion. Interactive OIT technology kiosks will be available for information, discussion, and demonstration throughout the lunch hour.

It’s your opportunity to have your voice heard as we move into the exciting and challenging realm of Carnegie R1 research activity.
